Symposium on Pathways to Reduce Corbon Emissions in Petroleum Downstream Industries

Introduction

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy- the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Japan Cooperation Center for Petroleum and Sustainable Energy (JCCP), is organizing a symposium titled “Pathways To Reduce Carbon Emissions in The Petroleum Downstream Industries”.  The event will take place on  25-26 June 2024, at Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Symposium Objectives

The symposium aims to explore potential strategies for reducing carbon dioxide emissions within the refining and petrochemical industries, while also examining the efforts of  OAPEC Member Countries in the field of petroleum downstream industries.
